Julia Benzinger
A recent graduate of the Royal Northern College of Music, mezzo soprano Julia Benzinger is pleased to make her Concert Opera of Seattle debut as Olga in Eugene Onegin.

She has been a principal artist with the York Truste, Opera Pacifica, Rome Festival, Bellevue Opera and Seattle Opera Guild. Roles include Lola (Cavalleria Rusticana), Der Komponist (Ariadne auf Naxos), Sextus (Julius Caesar), Dritte Dame (Die Zauberfloete), Pitti Sing (The Mikado), Mad Margaret (Ruddygore), Mama Madelena (Nine) and Mother, Granny and Giant (Into the Woods).

On the concert platform, Julia has been a featured soloist with the Manchester Camerata, Seattle Symphony Chorale, Rainier Symphony and Maud Powell Festival. Her studies are generously funded by the Seattle Opera Guild's Singer's Training Fund Grant.
