Alan began his formal voice training in 2007. Since the beginning of 2009, he has sung in the tenor sections of the Seattle Symphony Chorale, the Seattle Bach Choir and the Lyric Opera Northwest Chorus.

In Summer 2009 he was chosen to participate in the Seattle Academy of Opera Accademia d'Amore Baroque Opera Course, where he made his solo debut in a collection of 17th century opera scenes.

Alan is pleased to be performing his first full role, Matteo Borsa, in Concert Opera of Seattle's production of Rigoletto.
